    A post WWII boom gave birth to new opportunities, new neighborhoods and news schools as Miami continued to expand west into The Everglades. One such development was Westwood Lakes.....and with it came the need for a new school. Originally named Westwood Lakes Elementary School, this book traces the evolution of the 50 years of History at Cypress Elementary School.
